August Favourites

As it is nearing the end of August, I thought I would tell you what some of my favourite products have been this month. I have used all of these products constantly and will definitely will be repurchasing all of them when they run out!

This is the Orly Nail Varnish in Close Your Eyes. It is a gorgeous shimmery purple colour that lasts a very long time. It is very easy to apply and I have been using it constantly as it is just so pretty. When the colour catches the light, it is really sparkly and nice.
This is the Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat and it is very inexspensive but drys unbelievably quickly ( definitely good for those that don't like sitting and waiting for their nails to dry)! It also makes the nail very shiny and makes the nail varnish underneath last a very long time if you wrap the tips of each nail.
This is the Paul Mitchell Extra Body styling liquid and is very good at adding body to the hair and making your hair feel more voluminous. If you find that your hair is quite flat and fine, I would definitely recommend this.
This is the Wycon Liquid Lipstick in shade 47 and it was feautured in a previous post. This is amazing, lasts a long time, and the colour is very strong on the lips. If you have any red tints in your hair, this is really good at bringing them out and making them noticeable.
This is the No7 Shade and Define Stick in Cool Mink and is perfect for wearing as a base or on its own. I have been applying it to the lid and then blending it out with a fluffy blending brush and it leaves a beautiful shimmery wash.
This is the Makeup Forever Camouflage Cream Palette in No2. These shades have a very high coverage and are great for covering up big under eye circles.
I have loved the Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub as it really softens the lips and the fact that it tastes delicious is just an added bonus. There is no stain to it which I like as it moisturises, softens and removes the dead skin from your lips which is great after a day of wearing a drying liquid lipstick.
This is the Revlon Ultimate All In One Mascara and the wand is very small which makes the mascara very easy to apply- especially on the bottom lashes. The colour is jet black which is great and it goes through the day without crumbling and leaving black dots on your face.

Please comment below if you have ever tried any of these products and what you thought of them and also if there is anything that you would like me to review or try. Please also check out my Instagram account which is @IzzyBella_Makeup  !!!!

BeautyPie

Hi guys!
Over the past three months I have had a subscription to a makeup brand called BeautyPie! By spending £30 on a subscription, you get three months being a member of the website which allows you to buy products at a severely discounted rate, up to a maximum of £100 a month of full price of the product. Each product is from a well known and high end brand but BeautyPie has bought it straight from the factory and put their own packaging on it! You never know what brand you are buying but you do know that it is high quality. The normal price of most products is about £22 and the reduced price is about £2.30. But this does vary according to the product. Some foundations cost about £30 on normal price. Everything I bought from BeautyPie was great and it is definitely a subscription to look into as you end up getting £300 worth of products for about £100 including the subscription cost!

I bought a large variety of products:
2 foundations
4 lipsticks
2 eyebrow products
1 lipgloss
3 concealers
1 highlighter
2 lip liners
1 eyeshadow palette

The packaging that the BeautyPie products get shipped to you in is great as it comes wrapped up in tissue paper and the receipt comes in a little folder. The amazing shipping makes you feel as though the products you are about to open are worth a million pounds. The products themselves come with as little packaging as possible so that they are less damaging to the environment and all outer packaging, like the tissue paper, is recyclable.

I think it is the finishing touches that set this company apart from the rest as everything is thought out. They try to be environmentally friendly, make the package look really nice and also present everything in a really fun way!

My one slight negative about BeautyPie is that the shipping, handling and tax costs that get added on at the end are really high. I found myself paying £7 shipping and handling charges for an £11 order! Regardless of these I would still recommend you try BeautyPie as you are still saving yourself about £200 on makeup!

The discounted price that members get, is literally the price of the product and nothing else so you do feel like you are getting a very good deal!

I hope this has helped and I would really encourage you to sign up to BeautyPie as it is great!

My Favourite Makeup Brands

I love so many different brands and every different makeup brand has its positives and negatives so I thought I would tell you my top 3.

1. Kiko
This is a very inexpensive brand but their products are amazing!! They can't be found in drugstores but they are available to be shipped to many countries such as Spain, Belgum and Italy. They have stores across Europe too and the staff in them are always so nice! There products have great value for money. The only thing that I would say is slightly overpriced, is their makeup brushes which seem are very expensive.

2. MUA
MUA is featured a lot on my blog because their products are so cheap but are still good quality. They can be found in superdrug but also have their own website. The products normally have good payoff and last a long time on the face. But, as this brand is so cheap, there are some that aren't quite so good; you don't feel like you've wasted any money though as the average price for products is about £4.

3. M.A.C
M.A.C is an amazing brand that is more expensive and can be found in many retail outlets such as House of Fraser or Debenhams, alongside having their own website. Their products have amazing quality, and although they are expensive, the products aren't as pricey as if they were coming from Tom Ford or Bobbi Brown. The staff in stores can sometimes be quite intimidating so I prefer to shop online, but some are really friendly and helpful.

Thank you for reading and please check back here next Saturday at 8 am BST to see my next blog and their might be a surprise one out at sometime this week!

MUA LUXE Radiant Illumination Highlighting Kit

I bought the two MUA LUXE Radiant Illumination Highlighting Kits from superdrug so I thought I would review them!

There are two kits and they both have identical packaging apart from one has a two on it. This can be a bit of a pain when I am trying to pick out one and not the other as I can't tell a difference. This means that I have to open them both up so that I can get the one I want.

They both have six shade in them and they are a mixture of matte and shimmer. The first highlighting kit only has matte highlighting shades in it and the second kit has four shimmer shades and two mattes.
Highlighting Kit 1

Highlighting Kit 2

These are the shades for the first kit and as you can see they aren't overly pigmented/ are very close to my skin tone. I don't really like the first kit as I don't like to use matte highlighters as I think they make me look powdery and they don't help to accentuate my cheekbones as they should.
Add caption
This is the second kit and I much prefer it as the shimmery colours are beautiful but a little bit chalky. The colours are a tad dark for my skin tone so I can't use some of them and others I use as bronzer. This palette is good for a larger range of skin tones as it has a large range of colours in it which is good.

The palettes are £6 each and I think that the second one is worth is but the first one isn't.

I hope that you find this helpful and leave me a comment if there is anything in particular you want me to review! Please go and check out my Instagram which is @IzzyBella_Makeup for reminders of when new blog posts are coming and to see other things I have done!

WYCON Cosmetics Haul

Hi guys, I'm so sorry that I haven't done a blog in ages but I have been really busy! I'm going to start trying to do blog posts more often again now so keep checking back here for more! Recently, I have bought quite a bit of WYCON Cosmetics products so I thought I would do a haul:

WYCON Cosmetics are an Italian brand of makeup and all of their products are cruelty free and made in Italy. The woman in the store I was in was brilliant and really helped me pick up some great products. If all the staff in their stores are as good as her, you are guaranteed some brilliant customer service from them.

I have swatched the following products on my hand but I have never tried it on my face so this is just my first impressions of the products. If there is any products in here that you want me to do a more in depth review on, then just leave a comment and I will do so!

What I bought:

These are the WYCON Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks in (from left to right) 18, 44 and 47. They are gorgeous colours and swatches of them are below and top to bottom is 18, 44 and 47. They don't have a too strong smell which is good because I don't like it when lip products are overly fragranced or smell like chemicals.

These are the WYCON Liquid Pearl Eyeshadows and they are in the colours (from left to right) 10, 05 and 11. They create a really nice wash of colour and seem like they would be good as a base.

This is the WYCON creamy push metallic eyeshadow in 08 and is a limited edition colour. This has a very strong pigmentation and seems very creamy but also was very easy to get off my hand after trying it on there.

This is the Soft Mousse Eyeshadow in N.15 and is a really beautiful champagne shimmery colour that reflects light amazingly. This is very shimmery so it may not be the best for aged skin as it may show any fine lines but if you apply a primer underneath it seems like it will be great.

This is also a Soft Mousse Eyeshadow in N.17 and is a really nice plum colour with a shimmer in it. This seems like it would look really nice with brown eyes, to really accentuate the colour of them and make them really stand out.

This is the Aqua Shade eyeshadow in 09 and is a very strongly pigmented brown liquid eyeshadow. The colour is lovely as it is brown but with hints of green and gold in it which is really nice.

This is my favourite thing I bought from my first impressions of all of these things. This is the SaveYourLids Mascara shield and you can position it on your eye so that you can protect your eye makeup whilst you apply mascara. This is reusable which means that you don't have to keep buying a new one which should save you a bit of money.

This is the Fix&Matt Powder and it is a very fine. translucent powder that seems very matte. I can't wait to try this to see if it is good for baking foundation. It is very easy to get the powder everywhere but it seems really good.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lips

The Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lips are £3.50 and for that price are amazing quality. They are very matte and have quite good staying power especially if you put a lip liner underneath.

They come in a crayon type packaging which means they are really easy to apply, whether you are new to makeup or not. The size is perfect for application as it fits exactly on the lips.
This is the shade Berry Much and is a purple that makes your teeth look very white as the blue tones in it counteract the yellow in your teeth. The colour is very strong and with a golden brown eyeshadow look, it looks amazing! As this is such a dark colour, it can bleed a little bit so a lip liner is something that I would definitely recommend.

This is the shade Choccoberry and it is a pinky nude that is amazing for day to day wear as it is very wearable. This isn't too pink or too orangey nude so it is the perfect colour. I haven't found this one bleeds as much but I don't think the staying power is quite as good.

Overall, I would definitely recommend these lip products as for the very low price, they are amazing quality and amazing colours. I would love to get more of these lip colours and if anyone else has these, I would love to know your opinion of them.

February Favourites!

These are my favourite makeup products (and one hair product) from the last month...

This is the Sleek blusher in Pixie Pink and I have been loving it this month as it adds a touch of pink to the cheeks without looking overpowering.

This is the MAC Eyeshadow Palette in Amber Times Nine and has nine different neutral shades in various finishes. Some of the shades don't have the best pay off but others are amazing!
This is the Sexy Mother Pucker Matte-Lip in Choccoberry and is a pinky nude that lasts quite a long time on the lips and is very easy to wear on a day to day basis.
This is Tanya Burr's Eye Shimmer Pot in Champagne Sparkle and gives a gorgeous sparkle on the eyelid and is the perfect colour to layer on top of eyeshadow.
This is the Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner in Forest Brown and it has a really fine tip which makes it perfect for beginners and is very easy to apply.

This is the Kiko Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara and is incredibly volumising and lengthening and makes you look as though you have false eyelashes on.

This is the Stila Magnificent Metals eye liner in Metallic Black Gold which is £24 but I found it in TK Maxx for £3.99 and it is amazing!!! Please leave a comment if you would like me to do a review of this eyeliner.

This is the Makeup Obsession Contour Cream in C107 Light which can be bought in Boots. This is the perfect subtle contour shade for very pale skin and isn't too red toned that it makes your skin look orange.
This is the Makeup Obsession Eyeshadow in E107 Rare and is a gorgeous rose gold- red shade and it really makes hazel eyes pop!
This is the Kiko Smart Eye Pencil in 811 and it is a gorgeous dark sparkly grey with slight green tones. It is beautiful to smudge out around the eyes.

This is the Smart Colour Eye Pencil in 03. This is a really pretty golden colour that looks great on the water line and makes your eyes look slightly bigger.

This is the Lancome La Base Pro and is an amazing primer that really blurs out the skin. I have quite dry skin that when I put my foundation on- on its own- can flake off on the driest parts. However, when I put this on first, my foundation looks great.
This is a Makeup Revolution Pure Pigment- the name of it has rubbed off, sorry!!! The colour is very pretty for the inner corners or for an all over the eyelid shimmer.

This is the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte-Lip in Berry Much and it is a matter purple, the colour is great and makes your teeth look white.
This one is a little different but I wanted to include as I have been loving it this month. This is the MOROCCANOIL MoroccanOil Treatment. This smells amazing and if you don't have time to wash your hair, it can give it a much needed boost. Also, a little bit goes a long way!

I hope you have found this interesting and it may have given you some ideas of products that you would like to try out, If there is anything in here that you would like me to do a more in-depth review of then please leave a comment!!
