My Favourite Makeup Brands

I love so many different brands and every different makeup brand has its positives and negatives so I thought I would tell you my top 3.

1. Kiko
This is a very inexpensive brand but their products are amazing!! They can't be found in drugstores but they are available to be shipped to many countries such as Spain, Belgum and Italy. They have stores across Europe too and the staff in them are always so nice! There products have great value for money. The only thing that I would say is slightly overpriced, is their makeup brushes which seem are very expensive.

2. MUA
MUA is featured a lot on my blog because their products are so cheap but are still good quality. They can be found in superdrug but also have their own website. The products normally have good payoff and last a long time on the face. But, as this brand is so cheap, there are some that aren't quite so good; you don't feel like you've wasted any money though as the average price for products is about £4.

3. M.A.C
M.A.C is an amazing brand that is more expensive and can be found in many retail outlets such as House of Fraser or Debenhams, alongside having their own website. Their products have amazing quality, and although they are expensive, the products aren't as pricey as if they were coming from Tom Ford or Bobbi Brown. The staff in stores can sometimes be quite intimidating so I prefer to shop online, but some are really friendly and helpful.

Thank you for reading and please check back here next Saturday at 8 am BST to see my next blog and their might be a surprise one out at sometime this week!

MUA LUXE Radiant Illumination Highlighting Kit

I bought the two MUA LUXE Radiant Illumination Highlighting Kits from superdrug so I thought I would review them!

There are two kits and they both have identical packaging apart from one has a two on it. This can be a bit of a pain when I am trying to pick out one and not the other as I can't tell a difference. This means that I have to open them both up so that I can get the one I want.

They both have six shade in them and they are a mixture of matte and shimmer. The first highlighting kit only has matte highlighting shades in it and the second kit has four shimmer shades and two mattes.

Highlighting Kit 2

These are the shades for the first kit and as you can see they aren't overly pigmented/ are very close to my skin tone. I don't really like the first kit as I don't like to use matte highlighters as I think they make me look powdery and they don't help to accentuate my cheekbones as they should.

This is the second kit and I much prefer it as the shimmery colours are beautiful but a little bit chalky. The colours are a tad dark for my skin tone so I can't use some of them and others I use as bronzer. This palette is good for a larger range of skin tones as it has a large range of colours in it which is good.

The palettes are £6 each and I think that the second one is worth is but the first one isn't.

I hope that you find this helpful and leave me a comment if there is anything in particular you want me to review! Please go and check out my Instagram which is @IzzyBella_Makeup for reminders of when new blog posts are coming and to see other things I have done!

WYCON Cosmetics Haul

Hi guys, I'm so sorry that I haven't done a blog in ages but I have been really busy! I'm going to start trying to do blog posts more often again now so keep checking back here for more! Recently, I have bought quite a bit of WYCON Cosmetics products so I thought I would do a haul:

WYCON Cosmetics are an Italian brand of makeup and all of their products are cruelty free and made in Italy. The woman in the store I was in was brilliant and really helped me pick up some great products. If all the staff in their stores are as good as her, you are guaranteed some brilliant customer service from them.

I have swatched the following products on my hand but I have never tried it on my face so this is just my first impressions of the products. If there is any products in here that you want me to do a more in depth review on, then just leave a comment and I will do so!

What I bought:

These are the WYCON Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks in (from left to right) 18, 44 and 47. They are gorgeous colours and swatches of them are below and top to bottom is 18, 44 and 47. They don't have a too strong smell which is good because I don't like it when lip products are overly fragranced or smell like chemicals.

These are the WYCON Liquid Pearl Eyeshadows and they are in the colours (from left to right) 10, 05 and 11. They create a really nice wash of colour and seem like they would be good as a base.

This is the WYCON creamy push metallic eyeshadow in 08 and is a limited edition colour. This has a very strong pigmentation and seems very creamy but also was very easy to get off my hand after trying it on there.

This is the Soft Mousse Eyeshadow in N.15 and is a really beautiful champagne shimmery colour that reflects light amazingly. This is very shimmery so it may not be the best for aged skin as it may show any fine lines but if you apply a primer underneath it seems like it will be great.

This is also a Soft Mousse Eyeshadow in N.17 and is a really nice plum colour with a shimmer in it. This seems like it would look really nice with brown eyes, to really accentuate the colour of them and make them really stand out.

This is the Aqua Shade eyeshadow in 09 and is a very strongly pigmented brown liquid eyeshadow. The colour is lovely as it is brown but with hints of green and gold in it which is really nice.

This is my favourite thing I bought from my first impressions of all of these things. This is the SaveYourLids Mascara shield and you can position it on your eye so that you can protect your eye makeup whilst you apply mascara. This is reusable which means that you don't have to keep buying a new one which should save you a bit of money.

This is the Fix&Matt Powder and it is a very fine. translucent powder that seems very matte. I can't wait to try this to see if it is good for baking foundation. It is very easy to get the powder everywhere but it seems really good.
